Food Ordering:

Hot Foods : All food orders include disposable dishes, napkins and cutlery, as well as chafing dishes for hot food.

• Hot food orders require 24 hours notice, orders requiring same day or rush delivery are subject to a 10% surcharge
• In order to ensure delivery in a timely manner All food orders must be placed no later than 4:00 p.m. 2 days prior to the date required.
• In the event of an ordered food item being unavailable Distinctive Catering reserves the right to make appropriate substitutions so long as such substitutions do not substantially change the nature of the order

Cold Foods

• We would appreciate that all orders be placed 24 hours in advance but we will attempt to fulfill any order placed prior to 10:00 a.m. for cold foods, orders requiring same day or rush delivery are subject to a 10% surcharge
• Ability to fulfill short notice orders will be determined by orders already in the system and staff availability
• Any Orders placed over the web with less than 24 hours notice must be followed up by a phone call from the client to verify that the order is, indeed, being processed
• Delivery times cannot be guaranteed for orders of less than 24 hours notice but we will make every effort to meet your delivery needs

Order Cancellation: If the order has not been started then cancellation if possible.

• We request that all hot food orders be cancelled a minimum of 24 hours in advance, but require cancellation no later than 4:30 p.m. of the day prior to the scheduled delivery
• Hot food orders cancelled less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a pro-rated cancellation fee
• Cold food orders can be cancelled up until 90minutes prior to scheduled delivery time
• The larger your order the more time required for cancellation; HOT FOOD orders for groups larger than 50 Must be cancelled 2 working days before scheduled delivery

Delivery/Pickup Charge:

• No delivery charge applies on orders within 5 km for orders over $ 75.00
• Orders of less than $ 75.00 are subject to a $ 20.00 delivery fee if within 15 km
• Orders more than 15 km from our kitchen are subject to $ 30.00 delivery fee
• Deliveries outside of Calgary are subject to a minimum $ 25.00 delivery fee with a mileage fee added as posted on the website
• All delivery times are based on a 30 minute delivery window. We recommend a latest time for delivery be set for 15 minutes prior to service time
• Any unavoidable delivery delays will be relayed to the client as soon as they are known
• Basic food setup is included in delivery fees but decorating, table and chair setup, or on-site personnel are subject to an additional fee.
• Chafing dishes for hot food are included in setup, but we charge a $ 15.00 pickup fee for any equipment delivered to your site

Payment Options:

• Online orders can be paid online via credit card. Choose the option for credit card.
• In the interest of preserving your personal security if paying by credit card we request that you phone our office at 256-4380 to provide Credit Card information
• Payment on accounts are due within 15 days
